When you sign up for Debriefed, we collect your name, email address, and delivery preferences (your chosen send times). We may also collect basic usage information such as whether you opened an email or clicked an unsubscribe link. We do not collect payment information, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your name and email address to deliver your daily market briefs at the times you select. We use your preferences to personalize greeting lines and delivery schedules. We may use aggregate, anonymized data to understand how the Service is being used and to improve it over time. We will not use your information for any purpose materially different from those described here without your consent.
3. Data Storage
Your account information and delivery preferences are stored securely using Supabase, a managed database platform with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
4. Email Communications
By subscribing to Debriefed, you consent to receiving daily market brief emails at your registered address. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any email we send, or by visiting your account dashboard and deactivating your subscription. After unsubscribing, you will no longer receive market brief emails, though we may retain your account data per our retention policy below.
5. Third-Party Services
Debriefed relies on the following third-party services to operate: Anthropic for AI-generated content (market brief text and daily facts); Resend for transactional email delivery; Yahoo Finance for live market data; and Supabase for subscriber data storage and authentication. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active. If you request deletion of your account or data, we will remove your personal information from our systems within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify you.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate information, and request deletion of your account and associated data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe.
